Synopsis: Based on the novel by Angela Huth. Follows the exploits of three raw recruits to the Women's Land Army who are sent to work on a remote Dorset farm during World War II. After initial antagonism wanes, an unlikely friendship is formed between the three women, who come from different social backgrounds.Synopsis: Period drama tribute to Britain's world war II Women's Land Army. In 1941, answering the call to help farms in desperate need of workers, three beautiful women from different social backgrounds arrive at a remote Dorset farm. Under harsh conditions, a camaraderie develops between the very different personalities and each is changed by the experience.
